Can’t Get Through – released!

Hi Everyone,

I am very pleased to release this new track for the upcoming album.
It is called “Can’t Get Through”. The emotions and the lyrics reflect on what a person feels like when they are trapped in an abusive relationship. One of the most powerful times I have felt this way was when in my job I was being bullied by my boss. But it can be applied to many scenarios.

In the end I worked through one of the most challenging tracks to produce so far, pushed my vocals to do new things, and really feel that I fully realized the vision that I had for the song. Very happy with the results

For an update on the album process: As you can see I am doing things a bit unconventionally by releasing singles before the album. But the process seems to be working for me thus far
I’m not committing to a finished date for the album, I will keep producing songs and once I feel it’s complete I’ll put the songs together and release it as a packaged product.

   Pedro,
   Awesome! “Can’t Get Through”s sound quality is superb, as is your vocals, but your vocals have always been awesome.

   I gotta tell you though Pedro, I like “Um Ser Humano” the best of the two songs on the page. I can’t understand a word of it but it gives me chills as your feelings are expressed through your beautiful voice.

   My son is here, he was in the kitchen and just heard part of “Um Ser Humano” but asked me who your are and asked me if I would play your song again. Now there are two of us who can’t understand a word but love your beautiful “Um Ser Humano”

     Um Ser Humano aka A beira da estrada is the song that got me back to writing music again.
     The lyrics are quite sad actually. They describe a woman fighting drug addiction.
