I want to start by thanking you all for your continued support through this journey of mine. I’m still receiving daily messages of support for my debut EP The Light. It gives me the boost to push through some days where creative self doubt sets in. Thank you 
The new album is being an amazing learning experience so far. I guess I’ve been working on it exclusively for about 2 months. My approach initially was to take a look at my library of ideas I had accumulated over the years and especially in the last year. So out of approx. 80 ideas I shortlisted 15 or so to work on. I thought I would work a little bit at a time on all 15. This approach turned out to be a big failure as I wasn’t able to focus long enough on one to get really creative. During this phase my procrastination due to my frustrations kicked in leading me to creating new ideas instead. Since then I changed my approach to work on each song to demo completion or until I hit a brick wall. This is working a lot better for me thus far. With each song I work on I find my creativity expanding beyond my own comfort zone. it’s a bit scary to go outside your own box but the rewards can be outstanding 
I realize different people will have different expectations from this album. I am no longer hung up on that. I am letting my creativity come out and if it sounds good to my ear and makes me feel good I run with it. I want to produce something I will personally enjoy listening to also. And hopefully others will like it too
So the final product may have several different styles in it, but they will be sounds that felt good to me.
Nearly half the demos are are finished. My goal is to complete them by Christmas. Tweaks, mix, and master taking it into the beginning of 2010. Hoping for a spring release of the album and get a radio edit released to you and radio stations ahead of the album release.
I’ve also been doing a bit of work on my website. All of it is run with a blog engine now. Ive integrated several things with social networking sites. For example as soon as I post this it will get posted on twitter and facebook.
